I received my Carplay unit recently, and it was very easy to install. The instructions were easy to understand with good diagrams. Unfortunately one of the cables was damaged, so I contacted support and they responded very quickly and sent out a new cable.

When I was looking for retrofit Apple Carplay options for my 2014 Mercedes e-class, there were a number of options and vendors, both UK and offshore (China). I decided I wanted to liaise directly with the vendor, as opposed to a 2rd party site (i.e. Amazon, Aliexpress etc.)
I narrowed the supplier down to autoabc for several reasons.
Firstly, when I was researching information on the correct unit to buy, they were very helpful to ensure I was getting the correct unit, even prompting me for a photo of my radfio unit, for accuracy.
Thereafter, there was no question too much and they were very responsive, friendly and communicative. They were even very helpful in ensuring my delivery was processed promptly, as I was travelling.
The installation was very straightforward, the only challenge being the lack of space in the Mercedes dash, but the system is, quite simply, plug-n-play. Support are there in the background to help with any questions, on the off-chance you have any issues.
As for the product, it's a great piece of kit, versatile with an array of really useful features. If you have an older vehicle, this is a great option for you and I would highly recommend it.

The NTG4.5 kit arrived via your shop @ Aliexpress . Well packed & fast delivery.
The installation is with help of the many videos reasonable straight forward.
The cables are not easy to install behind the main unit but it is possible.
The ntg 4.5 unit itself was more difficult as it has a big connector sticking out plus the antenna on the front. It “ just” fits in the compartment behind the airco setting.

The setup for CarPlay in my model with Aux:
Program your original ntg 4.5 unit and switch in Aux. This is a must ! Keep the internal
Amplifier selected. Would have been better if this was in the supplied manuall but you can find videos how to do this.
Once done, end session and leave the car plus lock it. Wait 10 min as the system will reboot.
I did not have to use the separated Aux connector.
The manual shows all connections to be made and the settings in general. It would have been nice if the manual actually explains what the functions are and maybe introduce how it actually works. ( other manuals I have seen are all the same, very basic in explenation. Think this is an area which could be made a bit more interesting which is not difficult.
The button on steering wheel activates Siri AND Liguatronic ( original MB ). So that doesn’t work: they interfere. But as said instead I just say Hi Siri and that works. Original microphone is used.
The only improvement points :
- possibility to remove android buttons ( or visa versa)
- A selection to switch off the screen. ( black screen)
- Own background selection
- Better manual explaining in more depth the various settings and its actual functions or differences.
This is often seen and only leads to confused consumer issues: just spend a bit more time on these manuals will save the company a lot of burden and more customer satisfaction.
- include in manual a section of issues and possible solutions. ( like for example the Aux programming on the main unit)

It is a perfect interface, works perfect, I recommend it

Product was amazing the only thing that could have been better is the installation manual but otherwise it works really well.
