Volvo S60 Android Auto

Great unit. Easy install, works perfect, no connection issues. This is the perfect unit for adding android auto/carplay to my 2017 without trashing the dash or spending hundreds of dollars.

Great product, but limited documentation

Bought this product for my Volvo V40 from 2016 and got it delivered rather fast. The product is working now and is very nice in use. The accompanied documentation on installation is however very limited. Some tips:
- Check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXy5hs1bksM&ab_channel=iManAutoTechnology for some instructions
- Plastic tools to remove ventilation and gear lever covers are not included. I used a plastic wedge for it.
- For sound, switch to sound source 'Media' -> 'Ipod'. Connect the included USB-to-jack cable to your cars' USB port (in the arm rest). Connect the included jack-to-jack cable to the USB-to-jack cable at one side, and at the other side to the AUX-female-connector of the included power cable that goes into the Carplay box.
- Installation can take a while. During this time, the car is mostly switched on so using power. Therefore I got the notification that my car battery was getting empty on the display behind the wheel. This was however due to the installation. After driving and recharging the car battery was full again. Did not see the message since, so I assume the installation process was the cause. The box switches off after 10 minutes after locking the car, or after 10 minutes when the power of the car is switched off.
- Navigation in apps is done by rotating the 'OK-Exit' knob. In apps this let you switch to almost all buttons. If certain buttons can still not be selected, use the 'reverse' and 'forward' buttons on your wheel.
