12.3“ Linux screen for Mercedes Benz NTG4.0/4.5/5.0 Wireless CarPlay Android Auto
I recently installed the 12.3“ Linux screen in my Mercedes W205, and I’m very impressed. It works flawlessly, and the wireless CarPlay/Android Auto connection is fantastic. The hardware installation was fairly straightforward, provided you have the right tools.
There is some room for improvement regarding the documentation, however. There was a plastic holder included in the box that wasn't mentioned in the manual, and none of the instructions or YouTube videos clarified what to do with one of the original vehicle cables. I had to figure out on my own that it should stay unplugged.
Despite these minor documentation issues, I would strongly recommend this product to any W205 C-Class owners. It’s a great price-to-value upgrade.
Wszystko pasuje do Mercedesa B180 W246 . Instalacja poszła szybko i sprawnie. Po aktualizacji systemu pojawiło się więcej jeżyków w tym język Polski 😊
Screen is good addition for the car, only downside I could see is that when using BT Transmitter functionality, phone calls are in bad quality. The other end of the phone call can hear their voice through the speakers and the call quality is bad. But other than that, a great product
Overall, I've had a great experience with these products so far, although only time will tell how they hold up in the long term.
The installations for both cars were relatively straightforward, but they were definitely more challenging than expected.
**A-Class 10-inch Linux Screen:**
The screen looks great, fits the interior well, and performs as expected. The installation was the more difficult of the two because there wasn't an installation video available on the AutoABC YouTube channel, so I had to rely on similar videos to work it out. Once installed, everything functions correctly, including CarPlay, and I'm very happy with the final result.
**C-Class 12-inch Linux Screen:**
The installation was a little easier than the A-Class. The screen works well overall, although there is a slight amount of lag, which wasn't unexpected. CarPlay and all other functions operate as they should. My only criticism is that the display could be brighter, particularly during the daytime.
Overall, I'm happy with both purchases. I've also previously bought a CarPlay module from AutoABC, which has worked very well. The main improvements I'd suggest would be making the screens brighter, reducing the interface lag, and adding an installation video for the A-Class screen to make the installation process easier for future customers.
