For certain PCM3.0/3.1 systems, if the original vehicle does not have OEM AUX audio functionality, the AUX feature must be activated. This can be done at an authorized 4S auto repair store or with assistance from a professional technician.
Without OEM AUX audio, the sound output from this product will not work. Please check and confirm AUX compatibility before purchasing to ensure proper functionality.

Received the package within 10 days. Installed it and worked the first time. Still trying to figure out the features, especially the settings so I can make and answer calls while I am connected to car play wirelessly. Jiang from Autoabc is prompt in responding.
if anyone knows the settings I should set up for audio control please post a review.
Bought this item to add CarPlay wireless and usb to the factory Porsche PCM. Works great easy to install and comparable with the rear camera too.

This piece of equipment is considerably cheaper that most of the competitors out there on the market .
This piece of equipment was £300 cheaper than I had paid for a competitors product 8 months ago .
I was looking for a Product that would seamlessly integrate with the original onboard equipment and deliver Apple CarPlay , I didn’t need the facility to plug in external cameras on the vehicle ( front and rear ) , I didn’t require a secondary graphic equaliser either, I just wanted Apple Car Play and to be able to take phone calls using my steering wheel controls . This product delivers exactly what I required .
Do I have any suggestions , yes 3 of them and they all ( 3) concern the installation .
1/ Put a Sticker on the inside the box ( somewhere everyone opening the box will see it . On this sticker will be the Weblink to the correct YouTube Video covering the particular installation for the equipment inside this box ( PCM3.0 , PCM3.1 , PCM ?? ???? Etc .)
2/ You supplied 3 different length Screw Pegs ( for the fixing of the extra Motherboard Card .
Identify the length that must be used for the equipment in the box ( this could also be on the “Sticker” ! ( use “Longest Screw Peg Support Leg , for PCM ?????? . This would help the installer considerably .
3/ A Car Microphone Kit came within the box of equipment , but it was not needed . Again identify on the “Sticker “ whether that model requires the Microphone Fitting from the Kit supplied in the box ( “PCM3.0 installation does not require the microphone to be installed” , or
“PCM3.1 requires the
supplied Microphone to be installed” !
