I have purchased and installed the AutoABC PCM upgrade on 3 Porsche to date. All units booted up without issue and Android/Carplay work flawlessly. Installation requires some skill and care. AutoABC upgrades are more compact and easier to install than JoyeAuto which I have also installed and replaced on one of my cars.
Worked great. Followed a very detailed install video on YouTube. Broke one vent cover in the process but was able to glue it. Love my CarPlay!
Watched a few you tube vids found one for a kit without the additional power box. Cost me £158 which I was pleased with as i had been quoted £900 from a stereo dealer or a full Porsche model for £1500.
Watched the vid while I did the job. Popped the unit back in and it worked first time. Seems to do all that my wife’s car with Apple play does. Very pleased with the result. The whole job took me about 2 hours
