**Good News for Enhancing Your Driving Experience!**
There are many different Toyota MMI CarPlay boxes on the market, but sound quality and call functionality are often the two issues consumers care about the most.
1. **Improved Sound Quality**: If the CarPlay box has better sound quality, it's crucial because we listen to music in our cars every day.
2. **Using the OEM Microphone for Calls**: For those who frequently need to make calls, being able to continue using the OEM microphone is essential.
We've read numerous reviews on Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, and other platforms, and most buyers have highlighted these two concerns. Fortunately, our CarPlay box not only supports using the OEM microphone for calls but also now includes the ability to transmit audio via Bluetooth.
**Now, there's a new solution to the sound quality issue with your Toyota Apple CarPlay!**
If your car is equipped with the Toyota Apple CarPlay interface, you may have noticed that the sound quality is poor when playing music through CarPlay or Spotify. This is because the audio is transmitted via AUX.
**However, our Toyota MMI CarPlay box has now been upgraded with firmware that allows audio to be transmitted via OEM Bluetooth, significantly enhancing sound quality to match that of the original car's audio!**
**Please Note:**
- Only module boxes manufactured after February 2024 support the firmware upgrade. Modules produced before February 2024 do not support this feature.
- You can check the version information in the module settings to ensure that your module supports the firmware upgrade.
